Favorite Knits

The other day someone asked me, “What is your most favorite thing you have ever knit?” I pursed my lips and thought for awhile…”Well it depends…”

This is such a hard question as there are many aspects to a project that could make it your favorite. I mean are you asking about the pattern and technique used? The yarn choice? Or the overall finished object?

If you are talking process then I would say my Cafe Au Lait Tam. This hat incorporated my favorite technique (lace) with a hat style that can fit my hair comfortably.

I also enjoyed making my Neon Nutkins. It was an easy pattern to memorize and the results were superb. If I make them again I will be sure to accept the added challenge of the short row heels. img_8225

How about the best yarn I have ever knit with? Well that’s easy. It is the Anzula Squishy in Chiva. It is just so…squishy! The combo of merino wool and cashmere makes my feet feel like they are wrapped in luxury.

And my most favorite finished object…My Peach One Way Tee. The pattern, the yarn color, and the fit all came together for one perfect sweater. It also helps that I get the most compliments on this one ;).

So One-Way Tee

So if you had to choose…What’s your most favorite knit ever?

Until Next Time
