Prepping for Fall

Fall is my favorite season. I love the changing leaves, the crisp air, and all things pumpkin. Plus it is the perfect time to start wearing some knits :). 2eace6a66a4486802fed43bf660c0315 Here in San Francisco we don’t really have a traditional fall. It was 68 degrees today and it is going to be hotter this week.  However, a few DIY projects got me feeling the fall spirit.

I found this easy Pumpkin Spice Cookie recipe on the blog Cookies and Cups. The cookies came out a little softer than I prefer, so I used the rest of the batter to make cupcakes. They both came out super delish!

I also made some new October themed stitch markers. Aren’t they fun? I am participating in a Halloween Swap and my swap buddy likes Sugar Skulls.

Finally, I finished a new hat for the Craft Fair. This one is a baby beanie using a Mock Rib Stitch. The yarn is Vanna’s Choice  Lion Brand Worsted Weight in Rust. The color really reminds me of fall leaves and well…pumpkins.

Have you done any fall crafting?
