Yarn Shame

I was cleaning out my yarn bin and this emerge. This horrible ugly (mostly) acrylic monster. I am ashamed to have let my yarn get this tangled. Most of this is yarn is what I first started knitting with about 14 years ago. It has just followed me from state to state sitting in my bin. Why am I saving it? Who knows… I just know I can’t throw out yarn. No matter how crummy it is. Yet, ogling its current state I have come to the conclusion: There is no saving this at all. 😫

Hold your gasps…I am not throwing it away! Instead it will be given to my boyfriend’s students to get creative with. I suggested that he make a game of them working together to figure out how to untangle it.

Here is my pledge: From here on out I promise to be a better yarn mommy.✋
